You will be required to represent the company as a front-line delegate. The Contract Administrator will support the Manager Contracts for managing and overseeing contracts between the organisation and its clients, vendors, or other parties. This role involves ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, facilitating negotiations, and maintaining accurate records of all contracts to maximize organizational effectiveness and minimize risk.The roster will be 5 days on 2 days off with the option of an IFA (5 days on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off) located at our Burnie office reporting to the Manager Contracts, Shipping and procurement .Core responsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate contract terms and conditions in collaboration with internal stakeholders.Ensure compliance with contract terms by monitoring performance and identifying areas of risk.Maintain and organise a centralised contract database for easy access and tracking.Provide guidance and support to key stakeholders and other team members regarding contractual matters.Coordinate with Contract Manager to resolve any disputes or issues that arise from contracts.Prepare reports on contract status, renewals, and expirations for management review.Assist in the development and implementation of contract management policies and procedures.Provide support during tender processes to procurement, stores and contracts team, as needed.About youThe ideal candidate for this position will be professional, courteous and have the ability to effectively develop and maintain various working relationships.  Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.A national criminal police check is required for this role.
